And I can't do no scripting with IRC? only mIRC?

I'm not sure what exactly you mean. IRC, Internet Relay Chat is the protocol used, while mIRC is just a program used to access IRC.

I don't personally think i can help you, i tend to avoid the socket module.
By scripting what do you mean? I know there is a great tutorial out there(can't find it atm) for writing a bot which comes with the source code. You can obviously customise it to your tasting.

Alternate option, download a prebuilt IRC module which should be quite simple to pick up. And it will come with some really good documentation.

So as i said, i couldn't personally help you. As i know nothing about IRC and my Python skills are limited. So Dink stop treating me like the messihar(Can't spell), you seem to think i'm an almighty god.

Aww thanks! But then you must be pretty standard. I really am not that good, and i only manage to do anything mildy useful thanks to Google!
