Anyone else play the game Civilization 5?

I'd never tried any of the previous Civilization series games, although as it is by Sid Meier and is pretty popular I thought I would.

After playing Civilization 5 and learning how to, I now have to say it is an awesome game, probably the best strategy game I've ever played (certainly the best turn based strategy game) and one of the best games ever!

It is quite similar to Age of Empires except that it is a lot more replayable, there is a lot more content/paths to take and it is turn based (AOE is real time not turn based).

Game has major bugs/problems though for the majority of players even on the latest machines... Its still an awesome game though (although has to be played on DX9 version with low settings as DX10/11 version is too buggy to use).

I've never played a civ game, but everyone says it's awesome.

Once you learn about the imbalance of ranged units with extra range and double shot (or chu-ko-nu's) the game just isn't as much fun
